Fairview Center Openings

Preschool Teacher (Fairview Center: Head Start) - Create a successful environment that will promote the growth and development of young children integrating educational goals and developmentally appropriate practices into the classroom. Maintain contact with and provide services to families. Full-time (40 hrs/wk), part-year (46 weeks). Salary Exempt: $20.88 – $34.51 per hour (starting 8/1/2024) DOE and education. Full-time benefits.

Preschool Classroom Aide (Fairview Center: Head Start) - Assist the preschool teacher in creating an environment to promote the growth and development of young children. Promote the health, nutrition and education of the children and to attend to their safety and welfare. Full-time (32.5 hrs/wk), part-year (45 weeks). Hourly Non-Exempt: $17.27 – $23.03 per hour (starting 8/1/2024) DOE and education. Full-time benefits.

Palmer Center Openings

Agency Floater Preschool Classroom Aide (Palmer Center: Head Start) - Assist the preschool teacher in creating an environment to promote the growth and development of young children. Promote the health, nutrition and education of the children and to attend to their safety and welfare. Palmer Center: Head Start will be home base but will cover as needed throughout the three Head Start locations. Full-time (37.5 hrs/wk), part-year (45 weeks). Hourly Non-Exempt: $17.27 – $23.03 per hour (starting 8/1/2024) DOE and education. Full-time benefits.

Wasilla Early Head Start Openings

Infant Toddler Classroom Aide (Wasilla Early Head Start) - Assists the teacher in providing developmentally appropriate activities and care to promote the health, nutrition, education and safety of the children. Full-time (40 hrs/wk), full-year (48 weeks). Hourly Non-Exempt: $17.27 – $23.03 per hour (starting 8/1/2024) DOE and education. Full-time benefits.

Shared Infant Toddler Classroom Aide (Wasilla Early Head Start) - Assists the teacher in providing developmentally appropriate activities and care to promote the health, nutrition, education and safety of the children. This position will be shared between two classrooms, changing rooms after the provided lunch break. Full-time (40 hrs/wk), full-year (48 weeks). Hourly Non-Exempt: $17.27 – $23.03 per hour (starting 8/1/2024) DOE and education. Full-time benefits.
